From Our Family to Your Table: The Story of Yeti Eats Birmingham
Every food business begins with more than a menu. It begins with a reason, a passion, and people who are willing to work hard to turn an idea into something real.
Yeti Eats was founded by husband and wife Hom Shrestha and Sangita Shrestha. Together, they wanted to create a food business that brings people together through bold flavour, generous food, and genuine hospitality.
Today, Yeti Eats brings Nepali street-food inspiration, Himalayan flavours, and modern Asian-fusion dishes to customers in Birmingham. Behind every order is the story of two people building a future together, one plate at a time.
FROM STUDENT LIFE TO BUSINESS OWNERSHIP
Hom and Sangita came to the UK as students in 2023. They arrived with hopes for the future, a willingness to work hard, and the determination to make the most of a new chapter in their lives.
After completing their studies, they began thinking about what they wanted to build together. Instead of waiting for the next opportunity, they decided to create one of their own.
That decision became the beginning of Yeti Eats.
In December 2025, Hom and Sangita officially registered their business. This was an important milestone in their journey, but it was only the first step. Building a food business requires dedication, long hours, careful planning, and attention to every detail, from developing the menu to preparing food and looking after customers.
As a husband-and-wife team, Hom and Sangita share every part of the journey. Their aim is simple: to serve food that people enjoy and to create an experience that makes customers want to return.
FOOD THAT BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER
Food can remind us of home, introduce us to a new culture, or give friends and families a reason to gather around the same table.
That belief is at the heart of Yeti Eats. Our menu combines handmade momo, rich curries, stir-fried noodles, crispy chicken, street bites, sharing platters, and modern comfort food. Some dishes are inspired by Nepali and Himalayan flavours, while others bring together influences from across Asia and beyond.
The result is a menu with variety, personality, and plenty to share.

Handmade momo
Momos are Himalayan-style dumplings served with chutney and chilli-garlic sauces. Depending on the menu, customers can choose steamed, fried, chilli, and jhol-style momo, with chicken, vegetable, and paneer options available.
Steamed momo are soft and comforting, fried momo are crisp and satisfying, and chilli momo bring ginger, garlic, onion, peppers, and heat. Individual full and half portions are suitable for smaller meals, while momo platters are ideal for sharing.
Rice and chips bowls
Our rice and chips bowls are filling meals packed with flavour. The Dragon Chicken Bowl combines chicken, sticky glaze, roasted cashews, peppers, garlic, and onion. The Spicy Chicken Chilli Bowl brings chicken and vegetables together with a spicy chilli-garlic sauce. For a richer option, the Signature Lamb Curry Bowl features slow-cooked lamb, spiced sauce, potato pickle, and rice or chips.
Street bites and combo sets
Yeti Street Bites are made for customers who enjoy variety. Mountain Chatpatey combines crunchy noodles, puffed rice, peas, chickpeas, and spiced potatoes, with a crispy chicken option available. The menu also includes corndogs and Yeti Corn Ribs.
Yeti Combo Sets bring several favourites together in one order. They are a convenient choice for customers who want to try different flavours, share a meal, or enjoy a little bit of everything.
CATERING FOR BIRMINGHAM EVENTS
Yeti Eats is also available for catering enquiries. Our catering menu is designed for birthdays, office lunches, family gatherings, celebrations, and other events across Birmingham and the surrounding area.
Customers can choose from sharing options such as momo platters, starter platters, Shokupan sando platters, craft pizza platters, noodle trays, rice and chips trays, curry trays, and dessert platters.
For a birthday party, a mixture of chicken bites, momo, street food, and desserts can create a relaxed sharing menu. For an office lunch, noodle trays, rice dishes, and curry trays offer practical and satisfying options. For a larger celebration, several platters and trays can be combined to give guests plenty of choice.
When making a catering enquiry, please include the event date, number of guests, venue address, serving time, preferred menu style, and any dietary or allergen requirements. It is also helpful to mention whether you need delivery, setup, serving staff, tableware, or collection.
The Yeti Eats team can then advise on suitable options and prepare a quotation based on your event. Prices and availability should be confirmed before the booking is finalised.
OPTIONS FOR DIFFERENT DIETARY NEEDS
A good group menu should offer choice. Yeti Eats includes vegetarian dishes and other dietary options across the menu, including vegetable momo, paneer momo, vegetable chowmein, vegetarian pizza, Mountain Chatpatey, and selected desserts.
Please check the current menu for the most accurate dietary and allergen information. If you have a serious allergy or specific dietary requirement, contact the Yeti Eats team before ordering so ingredients and preparation can be discussed carefully.
GROWING FROM BIRMINGHAM
Yeti Eats is based at Fort Shopping Park, 20 Fort Parkway, Birmingham B24 9FP. This is where Hom and Sangita are beginning their journey, meeting customers, listening to feedback, and developing the brand step by step.
The trailer is more than a place to collect food. It is the first home of a brand built on family, ambition, culture, hard work, and hospitality.
Yeti Eats is open Monday to Saturday from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM, and Sunday from 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Please check the online menu for current availability and collection information before travelling.
OUR VISION FOR THE FUTURE
Hom and Sangita understand that a successful brand is built over time. It starts with the small details: preparing food carefully, treating customers with respect, listening to feedback, and continuing to improve.
Their long-term dream is to build Yeti Eats into a famous brand across the UK and, one day, around the world. They want Yeti Eats to represent more than food. They want it to represent family, culture, ambition, genuine hospitality, and the belief that a small beginning can grow into something extraordinary.
The journey began when two people decided to build a business together. It continued when they registered Yeti Eats in December 2025. Now, every order, every customer, and every event becomes part of the next chapter.
“Our dream is to share the Yeti Eats experience with people everywhere. We want our brand to represent great food, genuine hospitality, family, culture, and the belief that hard work can turn a small beginning into something extraordinary.”
