Cancellation and Refund Policy
This Cancellation and Refund Policy explains the terms that apply when a customer cancels, changes, or postpones a Yeti Eats catering booking.
1. Booking Deposits
A deposit need required to secure a catering booking.
Where a deposit is required, the amount and payment deadline will be clearly stated in the quotation or booking confirmation.
The deposit may be used to cover planning, preparation, staffing, ingredient purchasing, administration, and other costs associated with securing the booking.
2. Customer Cancellation
If you need to cancel your booking, please contact Yeti Eats as soon as possible.
Refund eligibility may depend on how much notice is provided before the event and whether we have already incurred costs relating to your booking.
The specific cancellation terms applicable to your booking will be confirmed in your quotation or booking confirmation.
3. Cancellation Close to the Event
Cancellations made close to the event date may result in the loss of some or all of the deposit or other payments, particularly where food, staffing, equipment, venue arrangements, or other costs have already been committed.
Any applicable charges will be explained to the customer.
4. Changes to a Booking
We understand that event plans can change.
Requests to change the date, venue, guest numbers, menu, service style, or other booking details should be made as early as possible.
Changes are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.
5. Postponing an Event
Where possible, we may allow a booking to be transferred to a new date.
The new date must be agreed with Yeti Eats and will be subject to availability.
Additional costs may apply depending on the change and circumstances.
6. Guest Number Changes
Customers must provide final guest numbers by the agreed deadline.
A reduction in guest numbers after this deadline may not result in a full refund if food, staff, equipment, or other arrangements have already been committed.
Additional guests may be accommodated where possible and may incur additional charges.
7. Refunds
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be made using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
Refund processing times may depend on the payment provider or bank.
Any non-refundable costs or expenses already incurred may be deducted where permitted by the agreed booking terms and applicable law.
8. Cancellation by Yeti Eats
In exceptional circumstances, Yeti Eats may need to cancel a booking due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control or where we are unable to safely provide the agreed service.
Where we cancel, we will contact the customer as soon as reasonably possible and discuss available options, which may include an alternative date or refund of applicable payments.
9. Unforeseen Circumstances
Events may occasionally be affected by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, transport disruption, government restrictions, venue closure, public emergencies, or other unforeseen events.
We will work with the customer to find a reasonable solution wherever possible.
10. Food and Catering Preparation
Once food preparation, ingredient purchasing, staffing, equipment arrangements, or other event-specific preparations have begun, cancellation may result in costs that cannot be refunded.
Any applicable charges will depend on the circumstances and the agreed booking terms.
11. Refund Requests
If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us with your booking details.
We may request information needed to identify the booking and process the refund.
12. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy affects any statutory rights you may have under applicable UK consumer law.
Where applicable, statutory consumer rights will take priority over these terms.
